Admissions

Clapton Girls’ Technology College is a community school which admits 180 students into Year 7 each September.

Clapton has very successful links with the community and in particular with many primary feeder schools through the Technology College Project and the Clapton Community of Schools Action Zone.

In addition all departments at Clapton have 2 link schools with whom they work, providing many opportunities for pupils in years 5 and 6 to get to know the school, the staff and the students before they transfer.

In addition, there are open sessions (listed below) where families can visit the school together and find out more about us. These open sessions include a tour of the school while it is 'at work' and an opportunity to speak to senior staff.
