Clapton Girls are everywhere!

The academic history of our wonderful school is rich and varied. The Old Girls' Society is a great way of letting us share our memories and celebrate our shared history of success.

It has been a long tradition of the John Howard Old Girls' Society to hold reunions on the last Thursday of September each year. In September 2004 we decided to reinstate this tradition on school premises and widen the reunion to include young women from all generations. At this event we were delighted to welcome women who had attended the school in almost every decade since the 1930's! There was talk of change but also of a shared pride to have attended such a successful school. One 'old girl' from the 1940's said 'I shall always be grateful for my time at 'Laura Place' and the impact it made on the quality of life I now enjoy'.
